These April 2026 School Holidays we're offering a hands-on Illustration Design Workshop that will provide students the drawing skills they need to help them to develop into the creative area that interests them the most.

 

Whether their passion is honing towards being a Gaming Artist, Illustrator, Animator, Graphic Designer, Tattoo Artist, Comic Designer, Muralist, Fashion Designer or Contemporary Artist - these workshops are designed to provide the skills they require to start developing a portfolio that's relevant to their own creative interest.

What the workshops will cover: 

• Choose your favourite manga, anime, character or theme of choice - anything goes!

• We'll provide the relevant reference tools

• Students will learn to hand draw colour correctly with lighting and shading using quality pencils and art pens

• Students will learn lightbox techniques to establish a learning base for shapes and proportion​

• All relevant art and drawing materials are provided.

• Duration: 1 hour 

• Cost per student: $45

• Location: Nepean Creative Arts & Performing High School, Great Western Highway - Emu Plains

• Dates: Easter Monday 6th April, Tuesday 7th April, Monday 13th April and Tuesday 14th April

• Workshop Times: 10 - 11am OR 11am - 12pm (students can book into 2 sessions)​

• Please note: Depending on the complexity of the student’s chosen theme, one hour may not be sufficient to complete the project. Students are welcome to finish their work at home or book a second session to allow additional time. NexGenz Workshops are suited to children aged 8+.
