The design workshops will be led by Javier Ferreira, a professional artist with over 10 years of experience in the tattoo and design industry. With expertise spanning neo-traditional, realism, geometric, fine line, script, Chicano, and more, Javier offers students a rich foundation in diverse design styles. Each student has the opportunity to explore the techniques that resonate most with them, while building practical skills and developing a portfolio that reflects their unique artistic voice.
Teens will have the opportunity to learn and develop their own individual artwork - drawing things they are passionate about in a way to build their portfolio that's relevant to the their career goals.
Each student will dive into the world of illustration - learning how to bring their ideas to life through designing, sketching, colouring and shading. Once they’ve mastered the basics, they’ll level up and explore the digital side of art by recreating their work using Procreate, a powerful illustration app for tablets (BYO device). It’s the perfect blend of traditional creativity and modern technology, inspiring young artists to thrive in today’s digital world.
Each Workshop has a maximum of three people, giving each student the opportunity to learn in a small and niche learning environment.
Each of the classes in the January School Holidays goes for 1 hour.
Each workshop is held in a home based studio environment based in Emu Plains.
As each private class has a maximum of 3 students, simply fill out the contact form with your preferred date and time and we will confirm your booking depending on availability.
No - for your first workshop, all materials will be provided so students can learn the fundamental basic skills of drawing, shading and sizing. If you choose to enroll in a second workshop and would like to learn digital skills, you'll need your own ipad / tablet, stylus pen and download the app called Procreate.
