3D Print & Paint Workshop

Bring characters, animals or objects to life in our hands-on 3D Character Painting Workshop, designed especially for tweens and teens who love creativity, colour and characters.

Students will get to choose their own ready-to-paint 3D-printed character from our selection (or where possible, we can print their favourite animal, character or object). Then, with artistic guidance, they’ll paint, customise and personalise their 3D printed figurine, turning it into a completely unique piece of art.

What they’ll do:

  • Paint and customise their own 3D Print

  • Learn painting techniques for detail, colour and finish

  • Experiment with styles, colour palettes and creative ideas

  • Create a one-of-a-kind figure to keep

What's included:

  • A 3D-printed character, object or animal (each 3D print is around 10 - 20cm high)

  • All paints, brushes, specialised acrylic pens and relevant materials

  • Guided colour instruction and creative support

  • A finished character (or two) to take home

Workshop Information

  • Duration: 1 hour (students can book into 2 sessions)

  • Cost per student: $45 (only 4 students per class)

  • Location: Nepean Creative Arts & Performing High School, Great Western Highway - Emu Plains

Please note: NexGenz Workshops are suited to children aged 8+. Depending on the complexity of the student’s chosen theme, one hour may not be sufficient to fully complete their project. Students are welcome to finish their work at home or book a second session to allow additional time.
